Of course he should want to win. But there is a respectful way of winning and a disrespectful way. Most guys on the Nets, including your buddy Jefferson, do it disrespectfully.

I don't remember the situation, or the intent--in reading the statement, I
thought he just wanted to take on the C's and do well in front of the
legends of the game.  Yes, it's a tad arrogant, but isn't the whole POINT
of the game to WIN?  I kind of look at it as him being willing to take on
the Celtics, tradition and all, and daring them to take his team.

Not that I'm at all happy with the fact that the Nets DID, in fact, beat
the C's.
