I think it was the wasted talent that was sad.  Kenny wanted the ball and
the big money but never really earned either once he got them.  It was
obvious to many that he did not always give full effort on or off the court
throughout a highly paid career.  When you get the big money you need to
give the effort to earn it or you deserve to get harangued about it. Effort
and success are different.  He didn't give the effort needed to be a star.
Andrew DeClerc gives the effort and while he may never be a star/highly paid
it's hard to put him down for his accomplishments.

This is why, IMO, so many folks are down on Walker.  He has talent, but is
he using his talent and giving the effort needed for his team/salary? Would
anyone be that upset if Baker wasn't making his salary?  Of course not.

Celtics fan's will support an effort guy day-in and day-out regardless of
his results.  But wasting talent, forget about it.
