Re: Madness...madness

Exactly what I was thinking. Baker cant be that bad. Put him on a team with a true point guard and he could give you at least 10 ppg. Its not the zone that is making Baker ineffective. Its due to how our offense ( or lack there of) was structured. Until now I cant see any semblance of offensive coaching except for the basic spacing and kickouts to the three point line. There is still a chance that Baker can be traded. Other teams whose frontline are thin might take a gamble on him despite his salary. Remember Elden Campbell when he was still with LA? Everybody thought that he was a washout and untradeable due to his outrageous salary and underachieving performance but he was able to resurrect his career with the Hornets. Same thing can be said and hoped about Baker. Being on the right team that injects a high-low offense in their plays could be the ideal destination for him...and Im hopeful that there will still be teams out there who might consider it by having the Campbell scenario in their minds.
