Re: Stay patient with Kedrick

>Why does Kedrick have to score 20 points to make you happy?

**I don't think anyone here is asking him to score 20 points a game. I think
we would all be happy if he could just take the court without looking totally
lost after a year and a half.

>Look at Ron
>Artest. He fits a role as a defensive stopper. Why can't Kedrick fill that
>role?

**Well, I think he could if he showed a little more consistency. For every
good defensive play you can site, I can show you three where he got back
doored, didn't bother to fight through picks, didn't get out on a shooter,
missed his defensive rotation or stood rooted to the court on a rebound. If
he showed consistent effort defensively, I think he would be on the court
more often even with his lack of offense.

>God knows this team needs one but unfortunately, having three point
>shooting ability is more important to some....What a bunch of loser whiners.

** This must be a reference to the coaching staff. I don't think you'll find
a single member of this newsgroup that wants Kedrick to be a three point
shooting specialist.

>Why don't you have at Baker?

**Been there, done that. Now that even you are no longer defending Baker, it
just isn't any fun anymore.  ( ;

> Have at me for that matter because I thought he
>was going to be better (it is pretty hard not to be).

**Does my last comment count?
Seriously though you aren't getting a paycheck to perform on the court or
to evaluate talent are you? Baker is, Kedrick is, O'Brien is, Wallace is,
Papile is.
That is why they are all fair game in my book.
