I think that is a silly idea, myself.  Letting an unrepresentative sample of 
players in an unrepresentative single game determine anything is dumb.  Why 
not pay each player on the winning team a hefty sum if all you want is for 
them to care.

I hope not...that and Michael Jordan are responsible for ruining the pro 
game.  The glorification of dunks leads to a street style of individual ball 
I find boring.  A player makes a name in street ball and high school by 
dunking and individual skills.  Then he goes to college (or straight to the 
pros) because he is hot shit, and gets millions before he learns to play.  
Then, why should he accept coaching in the NBA from some old fart who makes a 
fraction of his salary?

Sorry...feeling curmudgeonly today.
