Celtics & NBA News

- You already know about Wollowkingkongski's appendix,
so they'll obviously have to fatten the depleted roster
in the next few days. Word out of Kansas is that Danny Manning's
agent was supposed to have spoken with Wallace this weekend.

- Jason Terry is on the market, because the Hawks don't want to
extend his contract to the max.. Portland and Miami are
interested says Vecsey, with Brian Grant being one of the names
mentioned.
Terry would certainly be an upgrade over Delk or
Williams at point, but the C's have no luxury tax desire to add any
more long term maxed-out contracts.

- Game I of the Kedrick Brown showcasing just began. With O'Boring,
Worthless, and Papoose needing to make a good impression for
the new owners, as the C's early easy schedule falls off the cliff, the
lads are going to have to do something to keep the losses from piling
up.
And Brown and the picks are the only things of trade value, the C's
currently have at the moment. Let's hope the
phrase: "Lottery Protected First" lingers in Wallace's mind, as the
Celtics pick this year steadily increases in value, as the season drags
on.

- The next coach of the Clippers will be Dennis Johnson.

- How much stronger is the West than the East?
96-79 in head-to-head matchups, points out Mitch Lawrence.

- What Amare Stoudamire is doing, shouldn't come at a surprise.
He was projected by a lot of scouts as being a young Shawn Kemp
type of player, and that's what he is basically.

- How lucky are the Spurs? They're debating the merits of
either Olowokandi or Kidd as their free agent signee.
Now, that's good cap management.
