Re: Kedrick vs. Jefferson

Happy New Year, Greg.

For sure Kidd makes his every teammate better. He's one-of-
a-kind terrific. While young Jefferson is busy polishing up
his all-star routine, KB is still lost in Yonkers, contributing
NADA. This despite Obie prematurely announcing in Oct. that
Kedrick was to be his first wing off the bench.

So who/what is to blame for this outrage? Should we blame it
on Kedrick's lousy-distributing PG's, his untimely injuries, his
tender age and inexperience, or on his stubborn coach for having
so little confidence in him since that evil October practice day
when Keddy sunk only 3 of 27 three-pointers?

How about we blame Kedrick's demise on Stooge #1, little
drab Mr. passive-aggressive Wallace, who secretly remains
bent on being the most colorful, off-the-chart GM in the
league. With a smug guffaw, he loves to pull out his little
leap-o-meter on prospects while other GM's are scanning
them with head'nheart-o-meters.

So oui oui, Monsieur Juno - vous avez raison, or something.
Yes, Jefferson and Brown have more hops than Augie Busch,1V.*
Beyond that, if I, humble eggnoob, have to draw you a picture
of their differences, then I presume you will NEVER KNOW.

* August Busch III sold more than 80,000 shares of Anheuser-Busch
Cos. Inc. stock in an Oct. filing with the Securities and Exchange
Commission. Busch III, chairman of the company, sold 80,238
shares at prices ranging from $52.50 to $53.06, for a total value
of more than $4.2 million.

Later in Oct., Busch III bought 203,073 shares of company stock at
$21.69 a share, or more than $4.4 million. He also sold 120,117
shares for $52.87 each, for a value of $6.35 million.
Also in Oct., August Busch IV, President of Anheuser-Busch Inc.,
bought 49,616 shares of company stock at $21.69 a share, or
$1,076,047. Yesterday, shares of Anheuser-Busch closed out
the year at $48.40. A good time was had by all the Busches.

Sounds like the Augies, Georgie Bush, Marthy Stewart, and our
own beloved Chris Wallace have a lot in common. What the hey,
I'll throw in Cheney and Halliburton, too ... but only because it is
the first day of a new year. Off for a long nap now - I'm feeling
a bit bushed.
