Didn't hear it myself, but someone posted this to another Celtics board.
Some interesting stuff, especially the much speculated, seemingly confirmed
rift between Wallace and Obie. --- Mark


Jackie MacMullen was on 1510 The Zone yesterday afternoon and was discussing
the Baker fiasco and the ramifications on the Celtics' future...she said
some very surprising things including:

*Obie and Wallace not seeing much eye-to-eye nowadays - they read into the
fact of when the Celtics recently obtained Mark Blount, Obie was asked about
the trade and quipped: "I'm sure Chris (Wallace) studied a lot of film on
him"

*Wallace may very well not be here next season - he took a huge risk and it
obviously blew up in his face terribly...

*Mark Bryant - a long time veteran saying that the Celtic defensive system
is the "most difficult system to learn"

*The despise for Paul Gaston for really screwing up this team after last
season by not re-signing Rogers, Strickland, and keeping Anderson

*Wallace's overrated ability of evaluating talent for the draft

*Pointing out that regardless of Vin's mental state or his dependency on
alcohol it is merely a "cop out" since there are players in every league in
every sport that battle the same issues, but continue to perform on a high
level, unlike Vin
