It's not getting any better

The Celtics can only go as far as the Pierce and walker can take them and
that will not be far. The Baker contract is the problem and will be so for
the next three years. The last year Celtics were a team of promise. One Bad
trade ( there has been more than one) and the team is completely reversed it
direction. Wallace should be fired! We don't need a GM till the last year
of Vin Bakers contract. He Can't do anything anyway. The restrictions that
we now have will limit any chance of the team dramatically improving. If
they had just waited... Wallace doesn't know what the word championship
driven means. Baker would have had to have been better than he had ever been
to make this team a championship team. This list knew this was not a good
trade. Look at the Wallace era. What a waste! Poor decisions, Missed
opportunities, bad planning. Kedrick's not the problem ( he is at least
interesting to watch), drafting him #11 when we could of had him with our
third pick was dumb. Wasn't Ben Pepper Wallaces first draft pick? Was he
involved with the trade with Cleveland . Potapenko was a band aid to our
rebounding problems? How can a team have a glaring problem with rebounding
and center for 6 plus years and never address it. Battie was the only
decent trade ( the Lakers obviously didnt need him he was a throw away for
them), but he is still not a real center. How is this a championship team.
How will it ever be a championship team. It wont.
The next few years were the time to make it happen. While Pierce and Walker
are in their primes. Three years from now they will be on the downside of
their careers.
Forget about trading Vin Baker. No one wants him and we could only get
garbage in return. Maybe we should send him to the emerald city in Oz and
where he can get a brain, a heart and some courage. oh ya! he already has
all the emeralds ($56,000,000. Maybe we need another three year plan one
with out Wallace. GS
