One Of The Best Celtics Wins In Recent Times

The Celtics amazingly neutralize Superior Talent,
Superior Rebounding, and Superior Coaching thanks to:

1) A career game by Walter McCarty. Who would have imagined it?

2) Jiri being Jiri. And some people, living evidently in
a parallel universe, want to take him out of the starting 
lineup.

3) Walker being Walker. Ain't that the truth. Ainge must have
smacked himself in the head several times to keep from smirking. 

4) Pierce combating injuries to come up with some clutch
plays in the 4th quarter.   

Truly astounding when you think of the scary horror shooting from
James and Banks, Dallas destruction of the Celtics on the boards 
(get Mihm and Perkins up and at them - Jimbo), Dirk Nowitzki at his
best, and the problems of integrating the new talent into the lineup.

So one of the best wins of recent vintage and a big sigh of 
relief for Ainge, who was getting clobbered in the local 
Press and Media.  WEEI treated Ainge like the BBC and 
Al Jazeera does to the U.S.
