Re: puff puff & Blake
Hey Gene,
I'm with you on both points you've been making in the last
couple days.
That Springer article was a joke today. "I don't consider
myself a players coach" (Even thought it's clear by my
public apology to Toine that the inmates clearly run this
asylum)
Also, I'm with you, I love Blake. I've been confused all
year as to why none of the experts view him as 1st round
material. He was hurt earlier this year and didn't he
agree to come off the bench for a while? Maybe that's
caused the slip.

I was not surprised but I was disappointed by the puff
piece in the Globe today--S. Springer's. It seems to be
there to deflect the lingering criticism of his coaching
and to curry favor, as always. I don't think falling to
the Pacers will bring a new regime, but I can hope. It's
dreary that, with the opening of the playoffs, our focus
in on coaching weakness, player weakness, and the draft
beyond. Say hey, how about them Giants. Cheers, Gene
