As usual, I agree with almost everything Pete said, except the following:
 1) Having not seen JJ much since the trade, I'm not convinced that he has
indeed developed the necessary drive to make use of his considerable talent and
be a significant player in the NBA. 
2) I don't agree that Detroit is as ugly to watch as the Celtics (obviously,
it's a matter of personal preference). Detroit at least plays sound,
fundamental basketball, and Ben Wallace's rebounds are a lot more fun to count
than Toine's missed threes.
