Re: The Boston Celtics Mailing List Digest V9 #288

They had a seat in section 121 and in section 135 :(... I was willing to buy the $95 tickets.. bad luck... Then again, I should be happy this is 2002-2003 and not 1985-1986.

Try something I used to do at concerts--buy the seats as close together as
you can, and when you get there, go to the lesser seat, and offer to switch
the other ticket for the better seat. That way, someone gets a better
seat, and your party gets to sit together. I did that at an Elton John
concert, and it worked really well.

It's unbelievable...

As soon as the new schedule came out, I knew I wanted to go to the home
game vs the Lakers in November with my brother. I had to use a cellphone
from the Netherlands to call on Friday to the ticketmaster or the celtics
ticket phonenumbers... Ticketsale started at at noon (eastern time), so i
called at noon... I even couldn't get through for the first 30 minutes or
so.. Finally I got through, but had to wait 45 minutes in line.. Then I
finally got to order tickets but.... there were no 2 seats next to
eachother available anymore..

Are Celtics games (ok.. it's a top opponent) sold out that fast???
