Re: Suns playing Joe Johnson at PG

Nothing short of the Celts being sold or Gastons cholesterol hitting 400 is
going to change the situation for the better. We are stuck like a tourist
at a rotary (New England reference!!) I' m afraid. I know it's all
Pierces fault >G< Later. Mike (From the Dark Side) >G<MJKing

Can't be blaming this on Pierce, Mike, joke as you may. Obie knew the offense, Obie
knew the three first round picks. He had plenty of opportunities to make things work
for the draftees, and he chose to give them limited minutes while using a lot of
EWill.

The REAL issue, IMO, isn't Joe Johnson, per se, but that they picked one guy at #10
and one at #11 and if they didn't fit in, why not get real value for them? Who's
going to argue that Richard Jefferson doesn't bring more to the table than Kedrick?
And why take guys who aren't ready to play when you needed a true starting SF with
EWill having lost all his hops?

JJ was the valued correctly as a bball player at #10. If he wasn't the right fit,
make a draft day trade, or at least showcase him for a seasonal trade. Worst case,
get something of value for him that's better than a washed up, injured Tony Delk, who
couldn't start for a team in 5 seasons. He's like Dana Barros--a scoring specialist
but a tweener on defense. Big deal--you don't give up #10 for him.

Unless it's Moiso.
