You're right, an Intl allstar/pickup team would also
play below their talent level, and the other teams beat the U.S. mostly
because of greater playing time together.
Also, that's probably a factor why Kenny/Battie/Pierce/Antoine finally
were beating up on even Western teams, and why teams that get
old together(90's Pacers) play gorgeous basketball.
So I expect the current Celts to take a step back for a year or more while
learning timing/tendencies. But after that, they might surpass last years
team since Baker is a superior talent (and same age) as Rodgers.
(Rodney at his best, never came close to playing a 20/10 season, or
commanding a 40-70million dollar salary). And Shammond/Delk can do the
"Steve Kerr" thing as well as Kenny did.
