Not true.  They'd still be short a player.  Walter may not be worth $700K in
this market of castoffs, but he can play 3 positions and it's a short roster.
They may have saved $300 by finding some base-level rookie, but they'd be
worse off.

It's the Baker deal.  Kenny's money could have been used for THREE mid-level
players for this year's roster.  Team should have waited until mid-summer,
knowing that guys would come cheap.  Travis Best at $2.5 per year for 5 years
would be a bargain.  And there are many more.
