RE: how baker will fit in

I doubt Baker will be coming off the bench behind Battie. it would be
interesting to run Baker at the 5, Battie at the 4 and Walker at the 3,
Pierce at the 2.

  Rotation, rotation, rotation!
Who starts and who finishes and who mucks around in between, will be the
keys to Baker's role.
I see Baker as the first player off the bench, just like Rogers (see
Bill, no "D"); when Battie, Pierce, or E. Williams, gets two fouls, or it's
just time for Battie to sit.
Coming off the bench, the offense could turn to him and some inside
feeds, without seeming to steal Walker/Pierce's thunder.
I also see Baker finishing the game, hopefully with Battie and Walker up
front, to increase rebounding strength and keep Battie's interior defense/
shot blocking efforts on the court. Having three "go to" guys on the floor,
to close out, close games, could be a big factor. Vin's inside game should
be more reliable than Anderson trying to nail the open jumper, on legs tired
from playing defense, on the quicker point guards.
On the other hand, O'Bie did not often use Rogers with Walker and
Battie, even though it seemed effective.
