Josh shouldnt take your advice and bite the hand that
feeds him.

Before the game, Michael Gooens dad reminded Ozersky he
just needs to somehow cultivate a second source or
else he will appear to be a mouthpiece no matter what
he writes.

Actually, I think it was Josh who brought it up.
Obviously, any reputable news organization requires a
second source, anonymous or not, to file a story. (They
don't all do that, as I learned recently at work.)

But if you already have developed a useful inside source
(not always the easiest thing to cultivate), you dont
throw that hand away just to impress your friends on
IGTC.

Wallace actually reads his stuff, unfortunately. Trust is
the basis for greater candor.

Hoopsworld doesn't even have press accreditation from the
Celtics. No dot.coms are accredited by the Celts, in
fact. That would be the first step before Josh can ask
all the tough follow-up questions.

Just be patient. Josh understands the limitations of one
source news. And he's more critical of management than
you might (for whatever reason) think. Its a very worthy
criticism to raise, but in this case he shouldn't take
your specific advice.
