Obie ... stubborn passive-aggressive?

If veracity is the heart of morality, I have seen little of it
incorporated into our recent games.

I guess I just donbt understand the ultimate purpose of exhibition
games. I once naively thought that their final score was secondary
to experimenting with new defensive and offensive schemes,
various lineups, judging new players, and basically separating
the wheat from the chaff. But where have any of these purposes been
evident in our first three games? More specifically, where is our
offense, where is our defense, where is our team chemistry, and
why is Baker still being positioned at the arc while being deprived
of integration with our starting players?

Damn if I can figure out what Obie is up to. I despised Pitino
and all that he stood for. But really, passive-aggressive Obie is
maybe more threatening because he is just as stubborn and
threateningly more subtle.

Examples of his OBstinateness post Kenny and present Baker-

b In our system, the key thing for our point guards is
perimeter shooting. It's really more important to us than
    playmaking.b

    AND

b We donbt have any plays for Vin right nowb,

leave me adrift. If I knew my boss had sacrificed our future for one
large question mark, I would certainly do everything I could to feature
said question mark, i.e., Baker.

Are Wallace and Obie on the same wave length? I think not. Word
is that Obie never approved of the Anderson/Baker trade... that he
preferred the known Anderson and Rogers to the unknown Baker and
Shammond at half of our future cap/luxury tax penalty.

So my question is - that in creating zilch plays for Baker and
refusing to blend his talents into the starting lineup, is Obie
sending a message to Wallace? More to the point, is the proud
Obie now more obsessed with high maintenance BAKER FAILING
then he is on WINNING GAMES?
