LOL.  Great response, Michael, and I didn't mean to be "snarky", just
figuring that a lot of folks don't live in Boston proper, and North Shore
travelers can add another hour just to get to the Pike at I-495.

Also, especially after the events of 9/11, I'd like to think that even us
sports fans can consider visiting NYC in support of the WTC site and efforts
to rebuild.  I lived in "the City" for a while, and aside from the financial
and sports competition, New Yorkers are as passionate and entertaining as
anyone.  No "white bread" there, and grabbing a beer in a Brooklyn saloon is
worth a million laughs.  Of course, for all those who've never been to
Tanglewood or Saratoga, NYC is a full day trip, with jet lag, language
barriers and immunization, dietary concerns bundled in.

But you won't find better rye bread, bagels or corned beef on the planet.
