Well Leo,
How right you are. Of course, when your compatriots and you
in the Celtics front office, fuzzle pick after pick, then of course, the
draft
is lessened in importance.  Had you bypassed Moiso,or traded up for
Gasol, selected Richard Jefferson over Joe Johnson, used the 21st
pick on a point guard, not dealt away your draft picks etc., then
perhaps
the draft would assume a more omnipotent importance.
