You call winning the Eastern Conference Championship a nightmare? Hmmm...
that's funny. I call it a huge step in the right direction. Sure, the West
is better than the East. But still, someone has to be the best in the East.
You sound like you are upset that it is us. Would you rather that the C's
were in the middle of the pack in the East? To me, the nightmare was the
last few years when they were near the bottom of the weaker conference.

* Why of course he would rather the C's finish in the middle of the pack.
That way, way could grumble about how we aren't even good enough to be
anywhere near the top of a weak conference. But now, with us in position to
play for the conference crown, he must find another horse to flog...hence
the comparisons to the Bird-era.

If/when we defeat the Nets, I'm sure we'll read something about how we don't
run the fast break like the C's teams from the Russell-era.

He is not impressed by Antoine Walker....like Antoine would give a hoot that
way has been wrong about everything thus far.

Impressive stuff by the stayawayster...NOT!

I hope he is working on his "I only say that so they can prove me wrong"
speech.
