Delk was 3-10 on the night and 2-7 from beyond the arc. Williams was 3-4 on
the night and 0-1 from beyond the arc.

At the point that Delk hoisted the three point attempt that you reference, I
believe the C's were only down 3 points. It might have been 4 as I don't have
a tape of the game to refer back to. However, that particular shot was
uncalled for at that particular spot in the game as there was enough time
remaining to try to get a higher percentage shot or to go hard to the basket
and try to get fouled and stop the clock. Even though he was open when he
took it, I agree it was ill advised because the team didn't absolutely have
to have a 3 point basket right then. Flip side is that had Delk made that
shot, we have might have had an entirely different outcome and not even
having this discussion.

Your 'flawed' offensive strategy/poor coaching argument notwithstanding, the
C's were still in a position to win the game.
