RE: stats on DS

Against the better competition:
vs. ARK--15/10
 vs. Syr--16/10
vs. Duke--16/10
vs. St. Johns--17/10vs.
 Myd--14/10vs.
Cinn--22/12vs.
Prdine--18 pts. ? rebs.
vs. Ore--19/13

The last two were ncaa tournament games. He can score and he will rebound.
Give Darius a chance. Gene

Not sure why you left Kansas out but he scored 10 pts and had 2 rebounds
while playing a grand total of 22 minutes before fouling out. He seems to be
very streaky in all facets of the game. I mean, how do you collect 4
rebounds in 36 minutes one night and 18 rebounds in 31 minutes the next?

You can find his complete stats here:

With that said, I liked this pick at 50 and was very happy until I read the
Boston papers the next day. Talk about kicking a guy when he's down.
I'm with those that think we should give him a chance to prove himself before
sending him packing back to Europe. If he were younger, or if we didn't need
the front court help it would be different. But he's not and we do.
I've got to believe we could find room for him somewhere if he showed
promise....say in Walter McCarty's spot?
