Fwd: [Celtics' Stuff Clippers want to bring Baron back home

We're constantly bringing in the Most Athletic guys, but we don't run
and these guys can't make it as shooters. Silly. EWill, gutsy as he
is, is not a reliable offensive contributer. Great to have him to
"reestablish" a rhythm, but he's no longer a starter for a playoff
team. This should be the year to move him out and Kedrick in. But
where's the reliable shooter coming from? Our Allen Houston/Ray Allen
type? Without an inside threat, the Greg Minor of 2003 is an absolute
necessity.

Yet we've recycled so many picks just to find a capable shooter. What's
with Forte? Should the Celts just let him walk, or can he bulk up and
fake it at the 2-spot? After all, Strick and Delk survive at that
height playing backup minutes at the SG. Let's get this roster focused
on true "role players" that have a role to play.

It really bugs me that we'll be over the cap, and we only have three
guys that are solid NBA-level players--the captains and Kenny. With the
ball going to the captains so much, why not just dump everybody else,
use Kenny's money on a big guy and take on 11 min salary players? I'm
nearly serious here. There's not a game in my recent memory where we
counted on anybody but our three scorers to get ANY points.
Battie/EWill/Vitaly/Strick/Delk/Walter. . .who really cares WHAT happens
to them?
