Interesting that no names were mentioned for Boston. Strictly talking B-ball
I'd think Delk would be the one to go, but then you have to take O'B into
account. The two closest salaries to AD ($3.375 mil) are Delk at $2.7 and
Battie at $4 mil. Neither trade works straight up: if Delk were dealt then a
small contract would have to be included on our side (Cook?) and if Battie
then a small contract on SA's side. Either way SA gets minimal cap relief so
IF they are interested either they want an undersized gunner (Delk) and
active defensive big man (Battie) or possibly a draft pick . . .
