Re: PG for the last spot?
The team is better off without Strickland. For every game he helped them
win, there were 3 games that he lost for them. I have never seen a player
take more ill-advised shots than him. He never seemed to grasp that he was
not the number 1 option on the team. Most people were blinded by this
because of the charges that he would take. A charge is one of the more
exciting plays to see in a basketball game, especially if it comes when the
other team is making a run. Because of this, most fans could not see the
downside of Strickland, which was large. He is not a very smart basketball
player. He shot the ball way too much. Numerous times he would kill a run
the team was trying to make by bringing the ball up himself and jacking up a
shot immediately. Good riddance to him.

I'd vote for Strick, too - he's a real team player and will be sadly missed
by us all.

If i were to choose from Ray's list of available PGs, I'd say my choice
would
be one of these players: Erick Strickland, Chris Childs or Greg Anthony.
These PGs are tough defenders and of course, shoot the 3 well. But I'd
like
Erick Strick to return as we've already seen what he can contribute and
that
he fits well with our team.
