seriously, sadly

I, too, bid a fond adieu to Kenny and the others. Alas, Joseph, we hardly knew ye. And though I wouldn't have listened to the Sonics at all, I will upon summer's end probably be looking back in to see what we have going. I will be hoping for Baker's return to prominence. Having lived close to a depressed person for many years, I have a keen feel for the malady. For that reason I will cheer for Baker. He's no slouch to me, but a person unable to manage moods, a sad person. So I hope he will find a new environment to his well being.

That Baker will take shots away from Walker is my hope. That he will encourage us to try a real offense is another hope; if only we dump it down to the post before positioning our four grenade launchers, that would be an improvement. By himself, I doubt he will hurt the defense much.

I smiled upon reading the comment that our brain trust certainly knows more than we do about these matters. I don't think that for a moment. On the one hand I offer you Joe Johnson and Joe Forte; on the other, Tony Delk and S. Williams. Go ahead and pull the trigger on that.

Cheers, Gene
