Brilliant. (alhough I do note a "w" in Curtis' last name, 
albeit lower case).

Thanks for bringing up the Curtis Rowe/Sidney Wicks era. 
That pretty much guarantees this can't be the worst 
transaction in franchise history.

It could be a homerun. In our conference, Baker certainly 
ranks higher among centers than Kenny did at point guard. 
The cumulative effect of losing so many roster players (8)
could be just as damaging. That team had a hell of a 
great chemistry.

I'm really trying to stay positive, although its obvious 
I'm too frazzled to even focus on work.

I'm dying to hear Walker, Pierce, Auerbach and the others 
weigh in on this trade. Walker always talked about the 
need for a big man. Meanwhile Shammond Williams is 
walking into a nearly perfect scenario to get playing 
time, assist-to-turnover ratio be damned.

p.s. But it would be nice to have back another playmaker 
like Joe Johnson right about now.
