Should they have kept the picks?
Here's a look back at some Celtic 2002 draft decisions in hindsight.
A. Would the C's have been better off keeping/using the #5
and #22 picks in this past draft?
Nikoloz Tskitish + Casey Jacobsen
B. Or did they make the right choice with
Kedrick Brown + #22 in the 2002 draft
which for the Celtics, became
Kedrick Brown + Tony Delk ?
IMO, I'm not upset about the #5 pick because Kedrick does things on
the court that the 2002 rookies (and pretty much all other NBA players)
can't do. With that shooting form, hops, and quick release, those three
point shots will eventually be consistent. He's going to be excellent.
Also, here are some big name players the C's could have had (besides
Tskitish and Jacobson), if they played their cards differently (Not traded
the the this years Celtic pick in the Rogers trade, and saved the optional
Denver pick for this year).
