Isn't that who started this thread?

Seriously tho, it would have been a very nice draft if it had been Kedrick,
Haywood & Tinsley but we aren't the only team to make that mistake. Look how
Haywood was passed around after the draft too. Think Orlando could have used
him? Then again these guys are more advanced than the other rookies because
they were seniors and things might even out with time. Haywood was passed
over, not to throw Red a bone, but because the organization was really fooled
by the "progress" made by Blount.

Had Tinsley & Haywood been Celtic picks we'd probably be questioning those
picks as well since their abilities would still be unknown as they sat behind
Anderson/Strickland/Palacio and Battie/Potapenko/Blount maybe even on the IR.

Most fans on this list were delighted by the selection of JJ and he's the one
that most concerns me. It's not so much that he isn't producing, it's that
he's OK with that. He has the talent to be not just a good player but a great
one. However, unless someone figures out how to get inside his head this
isn't going to happen.

Kedrick was the one who came in far from NBA ready and look what he has shown
in his limited minutes. Imagine what he will do when he's learned more and
ready to really strut his stuff. At the very worst he's going to be an
upgrade over Eric Williams and his upside may place him among the NBA elite.
Time will tell.

I haven't given up on Forte yet and I'm sure the organization hasn't. The
reason we haven't seen him is that he is being converted to PG at practice
and this will take time. While this is a difficult transition I think he'll
handle it better than Billups did and with his pure shooting ability he can
be a very significant player once he gets his handle down. In the meantime,
Kenny is doing the job just fine -- I just hope he stays healthy.
