They Still Lost People

Despite playing at home. Despite David Robinson probably
having his worst game ever against the Celtics. Despite Bruce Bowen,
who always seems to play well against the Celtics and Pierce
being injured. Despite Pierce's terrific game. Despite Duncan
not summarily executing Walker as he usually does (While Walker's
game against the Spurs wasn't in Gasol's or Camby's {24 pts., 21
rebounds} league, he played better than usual). Despite Tony Parker
having a quiet game.

Despite. Despite. Despite. Despite.

Despite all the despites they still lost. Moral Victories don't bring
you any
closer to contending status.

And now two trades:

Walker for Camby.

Brown and Johnson for Swift.

Draft a PG, sign a veteran shooting guard, and you've got yourself a
terrific team.
