No, Davis hasn't said he wants out of Charlotte but word around the
league is that he won't re-sign there and wants to come back West --
where he's from. If Hornets management believes this, it has to begin
thinking about moving him. And he would command a huge amount of
interest.

Can this be true? Would Charlotte actually consider trading Davis? If so,
the Celts should consider any and all of the rookies expendable, and any
draft picks as well. You're talking about a big, tough, talented, all-star
point guard at the beginning of his career. He's childhood buddies with
Pierce. The Celts would seem to be much more attractive for Davis than
Charlotte. I'm breaking out in a sweat just thinking about it.

This team needs big guys, but it also needs a point guard and you don't pass
up a chance to get a Baron Davis.

Sounds bogus, but if it's true... pull out all the stops.
