would you do this trade?

No. First, Mourning's health has not allowed him to return to his former
level of excellence; second, he is older; third, Anderson is doing a good job
now and has at least one more good year IF we can get reliable backup (and I
am not one who counts on Forte here); fourth, I think that a 100% VP is about
equal to a 60% Mourning, so call them an even swap; fifth, why give up a
potential gem (Brown) for an aging center of questionable health? sixth,
McCarty can go, no problem, but this is his last year anyway.
If the Celtics were a big man away from a serious run at a banner, maybe,
but the price is too steep to go from, say #7 to #4 in the playoff seedings
in the east. (Or 8 to 5, or 8 to 6 - you pick it.)
