Rumors

Looks like we could see a big 3 way with Marbury, Marc jackson, Hardaway and
Camby involved

While a handful of GMs claimed yesterday the Suns aren't moving Stephon
Marbury, a Western Conference official confirmed the Knicks, Phoenix and
Golden State have discussed a three-team trade in which the Coney Islander
would land back home.In fact, ESPN reported yesterday the teams recently
discussed a wild scenario in which Latrell Sprewell, Marcus Camby and Charlie
Ward would go to Phoenix and the Knicks would net Marbury, center Jake
Tsakalidis and a first-round pick. Penny Hardaway would wind up a Warrior and
Golden State center Marc Jackson would move to Phoenix." NY Post

Rumors persist that the Warriors will make Jackson's dream come true and send
him packing before tomorrow's 3 p.m. PST trade deadline. One report has
Jackson going to the Knicks along with forward Erick Dampier in a three-way
deal with Phoenix that could bring Suns guard Anfernee Hardaway and/or the
injured Marcus Camby to Golden State. Then again, Jackson could end up in
Milwaukee, along with teammate Danny Fortson and possibly Larry Hughes for
high-scoring veteran Glenn Robinson and the Bucks' No. 1 draft pick. Or
heavily shopped Denver guard Nick Van Exel could land with the Warriors, in a
three-way swap with the Bucks involving long-lost guard Mookie Blaylock and
oft-injured forward Cedric Henderson and another of the Warriors' assorted big
men." San Francisco Chronicle

An NBA source told the Rocky Mountain News on Monday that Denver's front
office has at least one trade involving Van Exel it is willing to complete,
but the other team involved will do so only if Van Exel follows through on his
suggestion that he opt out of the final two years of his contract. Whether Van
Exel remains willing to give up the $26.5 million he is scheduled to earn in
those years is questionable. Van Exel and his agent, Tony Dutt, told the
Nuggets several months ago of their willingness to execute a provision in his
deal that enables him to opt out of the final two years of the seven-year
contract, if it would facilitate a trade." Rocky Mountain News

Who could that be?
