With that lineup you could replace DJ with Palacio and still win a
championship!  Heck you could probably play four on five and win the
ring...

Pierce and Walker will be much better when they can pass to a low post
presence .  If you live by the three, you die by the three.  It will
always be tough for us to win close games until we get a consistent
scorer in the middle.

Could we win with this lineup?

Dennis Johnson - point guard  6 "5"
Pierce - 2 guard        6"7"
Walker - small forward 6 "9"
Mchale - power forward 6 "10"
Parrish - center 7 "0"

Passing to Mchale and Parrish would make a difference.  The spot up
three and drives to basket by Walker and Pierce would be complimentary.
They could gamble on defense because the chief and Mchale were great
shot blockers.  Remember, Bird was the weak link on defense, he would
guard the worst forward and Mchale would guard the better, regardless of
being small or power forward.
