I admit that I'm not sure what was meant in the original comment. I have come to accept that NBA players are very, very different from me in every single way possible. Most are young, black, from poor backgrounds, and very VERY rich. I am older, white, and both from and in the middle class. I have a tough time relating to players as people, but admire them - including Iverson - as athletes.
