NBA Marketers get what they wanted



         Nba front office guys are relieved tonight that poster boy A.I
is still in the hunt.  It took three games of ridiculous disparity in
calls to do it, but the team and player with the largest amount of
jersey sales among all 29 teams is still alive. Whew!! 
         Check out the damn promos TNT and NBC use to promote the
playoffs. Among all the dunks and other highlights is nary a green
jersey. Not even a nanosecond of Pierce or Walker even though The C's
are the third seed in the East. The Celtics are the non-persons of the
NBA, missing from the hype like unwanted apparatchiks in Stalin's
Russia. 
         Go ahead Green, end it Wednesday despite the referees, and
confound the Madison Avenue morons who sell individuals like toothpaste,
but don't  know anything about team basketball.
