Re: re:Mr MVP

While the minutes were low, I assume you did not see the game. I was not
referring to any other player but Kidd. Not Martin, Scalabrine or Collins.
The team was pathetic and so was the point guard touted as MVP.

If he/they shut things down and are gearing up for the playoffs, IMHO this
is not the way it is done. While it is true that the Raptors are indeed
hoping to enter the playoffs, the Nets offered no resistance AT ALL. Not
many coaches would be pleased with their lack of effort and execution. If
the C's played like that, this list would have been all over the players and
the coach, and well they should have been. Even I couldn't stand up for
them if they played that shabbily :-)

But if Kidd is capable of providing whatever his team needs, I saw no
evidence based from this one game. They were playing matador defense. He
himself got so faked out by Alvin Williams on one play, I thought he was
gonna hurt himself. Nobody could hit a shot, many of which were easy ones,
and he would not even attempt one.

I don't think the Nets are going far in the playoffs....I just pray that
they stay alive until we can meet them.

Cecil
