RE: last night

Maybe...but I think most of the players go out of their way to make the
hometown guy look good upon a return. He had a decent enough game and
between he and Paul, they shot 45% on field goals. The rest of the guys
were at 37% and I think that is more the difference than what Toine or Paul
did.

Still, there are many things to be pleased about with this team, as well as
areas of improvement such as free throw shooting and interior defense.
Hassell banking in those shots was plain luck.

I think we lost some of our offensive cohesiveness last night because Twan
was in front of the home crowd and wanted to show that he "really is the
star of this team". I still think the emergence of Pierce as the go to
scorer causes Twan to throw up those extra 3's. He has matured quite a bit
in the past 2 seasons and has improved some of his weaknesses (free throw %,
defense) but, he will really reach his peak when he realizes that his value
is to the team and not to his ego.
