Another reason to hate L.A. - trivia question

    I live here and have for some 22 years now.  Tonight's game was on local 
TV as opposed to Fox, and local TV - AND RADIO!!!! - tape delay the east 
coast games.  I'm figuring, "Get home at 5, watch the last three 
quarters,then go to dinner."  So the game starts at 5:30 west coast time and 
ends around 8, but we went out to dinner.  And why watch the game when 
DirectTV channel 720 tells you the score?  When the radio and TV were 
starting the 2nd half, there was about 1:30 to go in the game.  Sheesh.  So 
tonight's big win just didn't register on this fan's Richter scale like it 
should have.
   One note:  on the radio "pregame" show, the trivia question was, "Name 
four Celtic first round draft picks between McHale (1981) and Reggie Lewis 
(1987.)"  I had my guess and got one out of four.  Hint:  two of them managed 
to stay in the league for a few years, unlike such triumphs as Kris Clack and 
Acie Earl.   One of them even got a brief TV interview after a playoff win 
against the Lakers some time in the 80s.
   I am off for a week in the remote corners of California, and hope many 
more of you have been ousted from the predictions race when I get home next 
weekend.  Misery loves company.
