That was his *best* line?  Sports Guy -- always raising the bar on snide 
comments.   Wow, a pick in the twenties didn't play much at all in his 
first year.  News flash!

One wonders what the esteemed second pager's less brilliant lines were if 
this was the gem.  One wonders because one doesn't take the time to read 
him.  One prefers wondering to reading schlock.

Not that you shouldn't have posted the URL or the snippet; clearly some do 
care, and more power to them.
