Prediction: They Should Win 20 Games

Yes, they should. It would help put them in a position to acquire an
impact player
via the draft and  break the vicious cycle of mediocrity that currently
imbues the
franchise. But alas, it's not to be.

What they'll do instead is inhabit the not so sweet embrace of their
usual
30 to 40 wins. Backup centers, backup point guards, a power forward
that's
really a small forward, a shooting guard that's really a small forward,
non addition of
quality veterans, a reliance on rookies... the limitations of the team
stretch for miles.

But being ever optimistic, I'll say they finish 61 -19 with two games
postponed,
when they discover Osama Bin Laden hiding out in Tom Heinsohn's giant
beer keg
under the press table.
