I want to give a round of applause to WEEI for having
a nice tribute to Butch From The Cape.  Butch was
the best thing about sports talk and was an early critic
of Rick Pitino calling him Coach Pinocchio. It was nice
to hear Jersey Red on sharing his memories of Butch,
and the fact that Pitino was hurt when he left Boston.
Pitino never got the essence of Sports Talk and how
it represents the Massachusetts (read not People's Republic
of Cambridge) psyche and view of events.
Outsiders like many on this list have a hard time understanding,
that a lot of this stuff is satrical.
