Re: Ray's bet (and last nights game)

I was going to say the same thing...I would have defended Ray in years past
because he always dug up articles I seemed to have missed. I haven't seen a
useful post in a while. C'est la vie...he isn't swearing, threatening, or
abusing anyone so just ignore him. He's just saying the same junk
non-celtics fans would say in a casual barroom discussion/argument.
Anyway, a few things I'd add to some of my observations from last night.
Antoine's defense - he has always had the ability, but it seems like he was
working it throughout the game (with pretty decent success). Yeah it's
pre-season and only one game but if he commits to moving his feet, really
working his man, actually dropping down into the paint on rotations (all
things he was doing last night) throughout the entire season, that'll be
worth a few games in the win column. I would assume this is easier to do as
he's in shape to boot.
JJ - I have really high hopes for this guy. Didn't live up to them last
night (hey it took Reggie a few years), but noticed he seems to have a
knack for being in the right spot for rebounds (this is something you don't
"learn") and his ball handling for a guy 6'8" seems to be as promised.
PP - His hair...I kept losing him (watching on TV) when I took my eye off
him for a second and would look for his usual hairdo (or lack of...for
those who haven't seen, he's sporting a full head of hair as opposed to his
close cropped look from last year). Maybe this will fool his defenders for
the first few weeks as well.... ;^)
I'm just glad to have the C's back.
