This is getting really old. How each of us chooses to donate money or
time or goods or services is our own choice. I find it offensive that we now
find ourselves sniping about who gives how much to what charity. If I want
to donate to a 9/11 fund, then perhaps the response should be "thank you,"
even if I give $5, $50, $500 or $50,000. My contribution should not be
compared to my annual income (again, my business) and my spirit judged
accordingly. If I choose to give to animal shelters, women's shelters, or
nature refuges, I should not be criticized for not giving to the others.
Now, perhaps if I post and say, "I choose to donate NOTHING to ANY charity,"
I am fair game for some comments, but otherwise, buzz off.
On the better side, I put in my order for NBA League pass last night.
Bring on the season!
