Execution may be just a bit rash this early in the season.  How about
arresting any player who shoots wild threes when 1) there is a team mate
with a better shot and/or 2) there is no one in position to rebound? 
Take the offending player off the court in handcuffs, make him sit in
jail for 24 hours, maybe even fine him.  If this policy doesn't work,
then we can revisit the execution conversation.  Seriously, though, the
coach has to be encouraging people to shoot as soon as they touch the
ball.  Even the new guys shoot wildly from three point range.  Maybe we
should arrest the coach too.
