It's possible Tyson Chandler Will Be There At 10

Yes siree.

Most people project Golden State at 5 to
take Chandler, but they could go for
Diop, as they need a center, despise Dampier,
and worry about losing Jackson.

Vancouver/Memphis(6) wants Richardson.

The Nets(7) need a small forward and could
take the fast rising White or Battier, if he drifts.

Cleveland(8) could take Chandler here, but just as easily
select the versatile Johnson, or Haywood
(they had a lot of success with another
NC center) and move Mihm to power forward.

Detroit(9) may consider Chandler too
good to pass up, but they're supposedly
looking for power forward help and Randolph/Bradley
fits the bill. And toss in the Pau Gasol factor.
They may also trade up with Vancouver to take White.

So there's a possibility that Tyson Chandler will be
available at ten, especially since the high-schoolers,
according to Bskball, aren't planning to work out
for any clubs drafting after five.

So the two best players available when the C's draft could be
Gasol and Chandler, who is a great athlete, but has
no NBA position, little shooting range, needs to put on
40 pounds, and is a real long term project.

It should be an interesting draft.
