Adrian would be missed

We all know that Griffin brings old school work ethic, overachieves and
puts himself in the right position for steals, rebounds, assists, so it
would be a shame to lose him. Plus Obrien is the one who gave the stamp
of approval to Pitino after the summer league two years ago, so I don't
see why Adrian is suspecting that O.B. wants to let him go.

On the other hand, he is undersized, and maybe the C's want Paul and a big
athletic SF like Joe Johnson for the future. The rumored deal last year
of Griffin for Shammond Williams(he lights the C's up badly), isn't too
bad You know that with the Ruben Patterson scandal, Seattle would probably
LOVE to replace him with our quiet, hardnosed backup SF. Personally I
like Adrian's game and hate E.W.'s game (relys on charity from the refs).

About the draft, some list members are liking Rodney White, but on the
last game of the season, Chris Wallace revealed that he's 6'7" and a half,
not the listed 6'9". That seems like a pretty bad pick for a power
forward in the lottery.

IMO, the C's won't be elite till they get a PF or Center with both
high % post scoring and physical rebounding. All our big men are
including Antoine are soft jumpshooters compared to other frontcourts, and
Murphy/Bradley would be the same!

I've seen Haywood and Randolph play, and they'd give the C's what they
lack. On Haywood, you don't shoot the highest percentage in the country
and the best in NC history (beating Rasheed Wallace), and be
totally chopped liver.

If the C's are scared of their attitudes, super athletes Gerald Wallace
and Joe Johnson could be great down the road (Where would we be if we
picked up Tracy McGrady and Derek Anderson with the #3 and #6 pick?
Jerry west wanted #3 to pick McGrady)

But management wants a scorer now, not in a few years, so Joseph Forte,
welcome to the team.
