Re: Draft report by George Orwell.

Title: Re: Draft report by George Orwell.
The previous post, taken from the "rumor mill" at Bskball.com runs counter to all of the draft "gurus." The site claims to be talking to scouts and GM's, who might know more than the draft experts. On the other hand, why would they tip their hand? They are competing, and if they can knock a Paul Pierce, say; and watch him fall to their laps at ten, why not?
In any event, the post seems like a draft analysis by George Orwell, who wrote 1984, where every one learned that every thing is it's opposite, through brain washing: "Love is hate;" etc..
It's going to be an interesting month as these players come in for workouts and the management teams fly all over the world to watch some exotic player.
Tomorrow the draft order will be settled. After that, the confusion will really rain on us like Antoine's threes, as misinformation will be spread like bird droppings on the white leather seats of an open corvette.
Really getting a bead on these players has been further mystified by the volume of underclass and high school players.
The talent may be in the younger players, but how do you gauge it?
Is Wallace really the super scout and talent evaluator his reputation implies? What can Papille give us from his vast network of talent scavengers?
This draft will tell us a lot about who really are the best front offices in the league.
My wire taps would be on Ernie Grundfeld (was it Ernie who traded for the chance to draft Trailor, letting Nelson go after Nowitzki or was that a bad dream?) in Millwaukee and the crew in Sacramento.
